SEPTYL® MOUTHWASH is used for:
- Oral hygiene,
- Bad breath,
- Prevention and adjunctive treatment of oral affections (gingivitis,…),
- Disinfection of removable dentures,
- Reduction of dental plaque accumulation.

- Chlorhexidine digluconate ……………………… 0.1g
- Excipients : q.s.f ……………………………. 100 mL
Direction
Adult and child 6 years of age and older:
Rinse mouth with 15-30 mL of SEPTYL® for 30 seconds, 2-3 times per day, after meals. If you brush your teeth, carefully rinsing your mouth with water before using SEPTYL®.
Child under 6 years old: Consult with your doctor or pharmacist.
For disinfection of removable dentures: Prepare a 1 in 3 dilution of SEPTYL®. mouthwash with water (or 10mL of SEPTYL® + 20mL of water).
Side effects
- Brown staining of tongue and teeth, reversible upon discontinuation of treatment.
- Risk of sensitization to one of the constituents of the solution, necessitating stopping treatment.
- Occasionally dysgeusia or burning sensation of the tongue at the beginning of treatment.
- Occasionally desquamation of the oral mucosa.
