Indication: Antibiotic ear drops for ear infection
Treatment of external otitis w/ intact tympanic membrane, esp in case of infected eczema of the external auditory canal.
Ingredient
Per 100 mL Neomycin sulfate 650,000 IU, polymyxin B sulphate 1,000,000 IU, dexamethasone Na metasulphobenzoate 0.1 g
Direction
Adult 1-5 drops every 12 hours. Children 1-2 drops every 12 hours. Max: 7 days.
Side effects
Irritation, antibiotic-related allergy. Superinfection, mycosis. Vestibular or cochlear ototoxicity if used in perforated tympanic membrane.
