Indication:
- Treatment of hypertension in adults and children 1 to < 17 years of age. It may be used alone or in combination with other antihypertensive agents. - Treatment of heart failure (NYHA class II-IV) in adults with left ventricular systolic dysfunction (< 40%) to reduce cardiovascular death and to reduce heart failurehospitalizations. Has an added effect on these outcomes when used with an ACE inhibitor.

Patients using this medication may at times experience dizziness, headache, and back pain. If you experience any of these symptoms for a prolonged period of time, please consult your doctor.
Additional Information:
This medication is not recommended in patients with severe hepatic (liver) impairment and cholestasis (flow of bile is reduced due to obstruction)
