Indication:

  • CALTOUX® Suppository infant is indicated in the event of pain and/or fever such as headache, flu, toothache and stiffness.

    • Ingredient:

  • Paracetamol …………………………………. 100mg
  • Grindelia (soft dilute alcoholic extract) ……….. 10mg
  • Gelsemium (soft dilute alcoholic extract) ……… 5mg

    • Direction & Dosage:

  • Reserved for infant weighing 5 to 8 kg (about 2 to 9 months) 1 suppository, if necessary, the dose may be repeated after 6 hours, without exceeding 4 suppositories per day.
  • Other paracetamol preparations are available for children with different body weights. Ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice.
  • Mode of administration: Rectal route.

    • Side effects:

  • Skin rash, skin redness, allergic reaction. You must immediately discontinue treatment, contact your doctor, and never take any medicines containing paracetamol again.
  • Biological changes. In that case, consult a doctor.
  • Risk of rectal or anal irritation. Inform your doctor or pharmacist about any undesirable effect which is not mentioned in this leaflet.
