PRODUCT INTRODUCTION
Metrogyl Gel is a topical antibiotic medicine that contains metronidazole. It is used to treat rosacea also known as adult acne(red, pus-filled bumps on the face). It works by killing the bacteria and stopping the spread of this infection.
Metrogyl Gel may show side effects such as irritation, itching, and redness at the site of application. These side effects are mild and may subside by themselves. Consult your doctor if any of these symptoms bother you for a long time or worsen. Do not use this gel if you are allergic to it.
Metrogyl Gel is not recommended for use in children below the age of 18 years as the safety and efficacy data are not available. Inform your doctor if you have any other skin conditions and all your ongoing medicines. Consult your doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding before using this gel.
