Indication:

  • ALBENTOX® Tablet is used for treatment of Oxyuriasis, Ascariasis, Ankylostomasis, Trichocephalosis, Anguillulosis, Taeniasis, Giardiasis, Trichinellosis.

  • In all cases, you must strictly comply with your doctor’s prescription.
    • Indications Daily dose Duration of treatment
    – Oxyuriasis – Adults and children over 2 years: 1 tablet per day.

     

    – Children from 1 year to 2 years:  ½ tablet per day.

     

    		 A single shot to repeat seven days later.
    – Ascaridiasis

     

    – Ankylostomasis

    – Trichocephalosis

     

    		 – Adults and children over 2 years: 1 tablet per day.

     

    – Children from 1 year to 2 years:   ½ tablet per day.

    		 A single dose ***.
    – Anguillulosis

     

    -Taeniasis   (associated with other parasites)

     

    		 – Adults and children over 2 years:   1 tablet per day. Once daily for 3 days on repeat ***.
    – Giardiasis – Children: 1 tablet per day. Once daily for 5 consecutive days repeated.
    – Trichinellosis – Adults: 1 tablet, 2 times per day.   – Children: 15 mg/kg/day, divided into   2 doses per day. Taking morning and evening for 10 to 15 days depending on the severity of symptoms and how early in the therapeutic management.

    *** In case of anguillulosis, trichocephalosis and taeniasis, if 3 weeks after the treatment, the parasite test result in the stools is still positive, so a second course of treatment is advised.  

    Side effects:

    • Nausea, vomiting, headache and dizziness.
    • Pregnancy: Not recommended.
    • Breast-feeding: Ask for your doctor’s advice.
