Active ingredient:
Codeine Sulfogaiacol, Grindelia.
Indication:
Symptomatic treatment of bothersome non-productive coughs.
Neo-codion is indicated in adults.
Direction:
Symptomatic treatment should be short (a few days) and limited to times when the cough occurs.
The usual dosage in adults is: 1 tablet per dose, to be renewed, if necessary, after 6 hours, without exceeding 4 tablets per day. In the elderly or in case of hepatic insufficiency: The initial dosage will be reduced by half compared to the dosage recommended for adults, and may possibly be increased according to tolerance and needs.
Side effects:
Drowsiness, dizziness, nausea, vomiting, constipation, pancreatitis, etc.
